Project Surveyor
At Hook

department in its entirety. I oversaw its growth and was in charge of project
consistency. During my tenure at Hook, I
coordinated field crews, equipment and scheduling to accommodate contractual
needs. I work directly with clients to ensure their satisfaction in project
completion. I also perform all hard bidding; estimations; technical
calculations; and project billing for the department. I worked closely with the
trade vendors and secured a routine of equipment and vehicle service to allow
for top accuracy and dependability. My equipment knowledge allowed crews useful
technical advice and troubleshooting.
Wilson & Company, Inc., Colorado
Springs, Colorado (January 2002- July 2005)
Project Surveyor / Party Chief
The
expertise & relationships that Wilson holds with the various federal &
state administrations has allowed for my extensive experience in the private
industry be furthered by new understandings of the standards & requirements
involved in projects overseen by federal and state governing. The various
challenges I have taken on included highway profiling, route surveying,
control, cadastral, and boundary surveys, ownership maps, thorough data
research, RR surveying, pipeline surveying & legal descriptions. My position encompassed a wide range of
surveying methods & titles. Each project assigned included responsibilities
for every aspect of its completion. Tasks began in the research of the project
property and its surroundings. From this point field observations were acquired
by GPS, Robotic, or conventional means. The final steps to completion consisted
of processing the data & creating a final deliverable using LDD or In
Roads. In doing so it allowed my resume to include further diversity in field
& office expertise
