The goal of LSRP is to provide reference materials that are useful in the practice of Land Surveying. LSRP also hopes to promote communication within the surveying community globally.

LSRP went on line March 1, 1995. In the beginning, the only other comprehensive surveying page was by another surveyor, Maynard Riley. We developed LSRP, not to mirror his site, but to offer an additional source of information while at the same time encouraging communication within the surveying community. The "White Pages" are a listing of email addresses of surveyors globally. The "Yellow Pages" are a listing of surveying companies globally.

Traditionally, LSRP has remained "plain" (not many images) compared to most sites. We prefer to keep it simple so the visitor can log on to LSRP and retrieve the information quickly. Also, the feedback we receive from our visitors agrees with this policy.

Huntington Technology Group, Inc., pays all expenses for LSRP. As a result, all information is posted free of charge. LSRP is hosted in Huntington, WV on a commercial server to insure that LSRP could continue without disruption. We plan to continue this website as long as the surveying community continues to support/visit the site. See our monthly web statistics.

In January 1996, we were granted our own domain name of www.lsrp.com.
